about my pottery

my pieces are usually made on the throwing wheel with porcelain and/or stoneware and fired to cone 6 temperatures. each item is handmade in small batches to ensure quality and personal touch. my pieces may thus may have slight variations to the size and shape of the same form. no two pieces are completely identical.

the glazes used are lead-free and food-safe, unless specified otherwise or marked using the non-food-safe stamp at the bottom.

although ceramics are hardy, please handle each item with care, as they can be fragile depending on the design and may break upon sharp contact.

are your pieces dishwasher and microwave safe?

for the most part, yes.

although my pieces are dishwasher-safe, i recommend handwashing whenever possible to ensure the longevity of the designs. some translucent glazes may display fine crackling in their design with prolonged dishwasher use. this does not compromise the piece, and it may still be used.

black stoneware: this clay is not recommended for microwave ware due to excessive heating. please ensure you use safe methods to extract microwaved black stone pieces should you choose to proceed.

do you ship globally?

worldwide shipping is available! please note that shipping times may vary depending on your location. shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order. customs and import fees are the purchaser’s responsibility.

local pickup is available for orders within the greater toronto area from my studio in midtown (toronto, ontario, canada).

what are your processing times?

in-stock items: typically processed and shipped within 2-5 business days.

made-to-order items: preorder items may take between 2-6 weeks, depending on the order. expedited turnaround times may be possible for special events, please contact me to coordinate prior to placing an order.

please note that processing times may be extended during peak seasons. you will be notified for any delays caused by unforeseen circumstances.

do you accept returns or exchanges?

if any pieces are damaged during shipping, please take photos and contact me immediately within 2 days of receiving your order. your order will either be replaced or refunded (exclusive of shipping).

if any package is undeliverable because of an incomplete mailing address, your order will be cancelled and you will be issued a refund (minus the shipping cost of the parcel).

if you are unsatisfied with the pieces upon receipt, please pack the items carefully in its original packaging and ship within 3 business days. your order will be refunded, minus the cost of shipping. any return shipping charges will be the buyer’s responsibility. if the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
